Daiwa Legalis Oceano 60–120g Jigging Rod

Daiwa Legalis Oceano 60–120g Jigging Rod

The Daiwa Legalis Oceano 60–120g is a spinning jigging rod for anglers building a dedicated saltwater setup in Mauritius. Its high modulus carbon blank combines a responsive feel with cross wrapping for reinforcement. This listing is for the rod only; a reel, line and jig are not included.

Vertical jigging with 60–120g jigs

This 60–120g version suits a setup built around medium-weight metal jigs. It gives you a different jig range from the lighter 20–80g model. The rating refers to jig weight, rather than the size of fish the rod can lift. Current, water depth and line diameter also affect how a jig works beneath the boat.

Fuji guides support smooth line travel, while the Fuji reel seat holds a compatible spinning reel. The black EVA handle provides a comfortable surface to grip during repeated lifts and retrieves. The offset butt joint allows the handle section to separate for transport.

Choosing your setup

Pair the rod with a suitable spinning reel and select braid, leader and terminal tackle to suit your fishing conditions. Adjust the drag carefully and avoid lifting a hooked fish into the boat with the rod tip. Ask our team at Anglers Centre for help matching your equipment.

Care after saltwater use

Rinse gently with fresh water after fishing, then dry before storage. Check the guide rings and joints before each outing. Browse our fishing rods and fishing equipment for compatible accessories.
