Daiwa Grandwave 60–110g Spinning Rod

Daiwa Grandwave 60–110g Fishing Rod

The Daiwa Grandwave 60–110g is a spinning fishing rod available at nirajmobile in Mauritius for Rs8,900. This listing is for the rod only. A reel, braid, leader and lures are sold separately, so you can choose the components that suit your fishing setup.

Choose the right lure range

The listed 60–110g rating describes the recommended lure-weight range supplied for this rod. It is not a fish-weight rating or a maximum lifting load. Select your lure and complete rig with the rod’s rating in mind, and account for the conditions where you plan to fish.

The blue finish and black foam grips give this Grandwave a distinctive appearance. The spinning layout places the reel below the rod, with the line running through the guide train toward the tip. Pair it with a spinning reel that balances comfortably in your hand during repeated casts and retrieves.

Build a balanced outfit

Choose your line and leader to suit the rod, reel and fishing conditions. Set the reel drag carefully before fishing and check every knot. Avoid lifting a fish by the rod tip; use an appropriate landing net or other suitable landing method. Ask our team at Anglers Centre for help matching your tackle.

Care and storage

After saltwater use, gently rinse the rod with fresh water and dry it before storage. Inspect the guide rings for damage and keep sand away from the reel seat and joints. Carry the rod in a protective sleeve to reduce accidental knocks.
